After hearing so much hype about Truck Yard Houston, I left pretty disappointed. It just felt like they cared more about the “vibe” than actually making the place comfortable or enjoyable. For starters, it’s basically not heated (or if it is, you can’t tell). If it’s even a little cold out, you’re just standing there freezing, wondering why you paid money to be uncomfortable. Flavorful, filling, and way better than I expected. I also grabbed a half-gallon frozen drink to go for $22 plus tax, which felt like a steal. Only downside? Paid parking. Come hungry and bring a few extra dollars for the meter. Totally worth it.
