My first visit and I was impressed. Easy ordering system, we were given sandwich recommendations and the menu was great! So many options, fresh ingredients. My cowboy sandwich was good and so was the Tex-Mex. I had a French vanilla coffee and it did not have much of a French vanilla taste but I still love my coffee. I also had the French toast, that was ok. I will definitely visit again to try other menu options.
Even one doesn't seem like it will be busy, the place seems to be hopping. Very good selection of bagels and drinks there, a lot of people behind the count are helping out. A little pricey for the sandwich but it was delicious and the bacon was crispy. It was almost a four mile walk to get there, but it was worth it. Not sure when I will be back but I'm sure I will be.
This place has been a Queens staple for years. The bagels are perfectly hand made. Good crisp on the outside and wonderfully soft and chewy on the inside. The line may be very long, but its worth it. Also don't worry the fame and press has not ruined this place.
