Our server was SO nice but oh my goodness this is $6.50, so comes to over $7 for this ping pong ball size. Just way too expensive.
The ice cream is very good, staff is not very friendly. You ask for a small ice cream and they serve two scoops. You ask for each scoop of different flavors and the answer is NO. Why? You are serving two scoops anyway. Wouldn’t it make more sense to let people try different flavors…?
My friends and I noticed the new Van Leeuwen while bar hopping and decided to stop in for a scoop. The ice cream flavors and selection were phenomenal per usual, and I'm convinced they have the best vegan ice cream in the City. However, nothing topped the level of hospitality and service from the two employees working the late shift. Gazi and Tricia made our ice cream pit stop a memorable part of our Saturday night, and we hope to run into them again during our next visit!
