Uncle Gussy is hands down one of the very few food carts I actually trust and go to, and it’s always worth it. The food is consistently fresh, flavorful, and made right every single time. You can tell they care about quality, not just pushing plates out. Portions are solid, service is fast, and everything tastes exactly how it should. If you’re debating whether to stop here—don’t. This cart is 100% worth it.

I was surprised to already see a line at 11:30am on a Thursday but it moves very quickly. And having tried the chicken thighs on fries, I can understand why people wait. The chicken is flavourful and moist, the fries are seasoned and crispy on the outside. The lettuce helps to balance out the stronger flavours. You can even order ahead online for pickup to avoid the line!

Uncle Gussy’s truck been serving the local white collar workers lunch for almost two decades as far as I know. They’ve been in business for so long bc their quality and long lines speaks for itself. During the typical lunch break the lines can stretched to the middle of the block (I’ve waited almost 30 mins once).
