The venue is pretty nice architecturally but acoustically it did not seem great. Could have been the house mix but it was very challenging too hear the spoken word. Security was laid back, friendly and appropriate fort the event.
The establishment itself is very beautiful, with a good view of the stage throughout. My only concern was with some of the security the night I went. Maybe it was just a bad day for some of them on their end, but I was approached with some unnecessary attitude and remarks when I was being very polite and understanding of things they were telling me that I didn’t realize was an problem: e.g. standing in front of a door accidentally to fix my shoes quickly.
