A stunning and creative adaptive reuse of an old industrial brick and loft building in the Bridgeport neighborhood. This venue impresses from the moment you walk in the covered courtyard ceremony space, a reclaimed ruin of old Chicago. If your looking for a tasteful, elegant, urban and truly Chicago wedding, The Bridgeport Art Center doesn't disappoint.
The front/check-in staff was throwing a tantrum about emails for open studios. Relieved to hear other people experienced similar stuff. Other than a bit of whining at visitors, decent experience. This building has some neat artists and businesses in it. So far have been willing to brush off all the criticisms towards the building/management, but seeing it firsthand changed my views. Some of the residents are gems, so even if you pass on the events and stuff, I recommend supporting individuals
We had our dream wedding in the Sculpture Garden! We had looked at 2-3 other venues and once we came to the BPAC I knew it was the place that I wanted to get married. The Sculpture Garden is truly beautiful, unique, and has plenty of space for guests. We had 250 people and there was plenty of room for everyone to move around both for ceremony and reception.
