This was the worst taco / excuse for Mexican food I’ve ever had in San Diego or LA. I don’t like leaving negative reviews but I feel compelled to do so in this case (mainly in hopes the business tries to improve). We decided to go with the shrimp tacos and that was a gigantic mistake. First off, the menu said $10 and we assumed that was 2 tacos, but in reality it was one. 1. I ordered a flatbread and it took 45 minutes. When it arrived, the bottom was burnt, completely black. I took it back and a new one was made, free of charge. 2. While I was waiting, they shut down their operation in the middle of the dinner rush, claiming they were backed up. Zoe is trying to do too much. Mexican menu, Italian menu, now burgers and pretzels and who knows what else. Nachos kinda bland, steak mediocre all covered in mostly generic nacho sauce which then reappeared on the pretzel bites. I’d recommend sticking to one cuisine and do it better quality. Never ventured into the Italian menu but at a brewery food truck I’m not really in the mood for an alfredo dinner. Would prob skip next time.
