Alot of fun to see a ton of Vegas history. The employees are super friendly and very knowledgeable. Bob was an absolute gem and told me a bunch of history and facts about the area I would have never known otherwise. It's relatively small but rumor has it they may be looking to expand. We can only hope such a cool piece of history in Vegas will stick around for ages to come.
About a mile from downtown/Fremont Street, this little gem is worth a visit to support saving the glittering neon history of Las Vegas. You can walk through on your own, but I recommend taking a tour that begins just at sunset. The twilight sky and tour guide commentary bring each sign alive. Remember to tip your guide! You can buy tickets online in advance if you want - there are senior discounts and sometimes coupon codes, but the price is reasonable regardless. Plan to spend about 90 minutes
Fascinating history and beautiful architectural artifacts. The docents are knowledgeable and enthusiastic to share information. I would recommend driving, taxi or ride share. I walked from downtown; the surrounding area became a little sketchy as I got further from Fremont St. It felt especially uncomfortable at night to walk along Las Vegas Blvd. between Fremont and the Neon Museum.
